ODIUM
was bleibt uns in diesen momenten ?
ertrinkst in selbstzweifel
in odium we are dealing with societal stereotypes and our frustration with people playing into them - both in our so-called scene and outside of "our" scene. people too often find "their" personality and "their" identity through the consumption of outdated and old-fashioned dogmas, even in the punk/DIY scene -- a scene that was founded on principles in direct contrast to this: individuality, tolerance, encouragement, and breaking down the traditional hierarchy of powerful/powerless, performer/audience, owner/consumer. this song is very personal to us, as we continuously deal with this dynamic and the manifestation of it both within our band and the scene we are involved with.
